I love magazines. There remains something very special about getting the latest copy of a glossy in your hands, packed full of beautiful photos and in-depth features. I see the editions of Vanity Fair and Wired that come through my door as oases away from the noise of of other forms of media and social media.
Someone who appreciates magazines as much as I do, if not more, is Peter Houston. He is a co-presenter of the Media Voices podcast and involved in the fantastic projects that team works on. He also writes the brilliant The Magazine Diaries Substack - a weekly newsletter full of publishing ideas worth stealing. He joined me to discuss some of the exciting things happening in the industry, everywhere from small startups to major publishers.
